Lots of excitement coming up. SF robots would be wise to plan ahead to avoid missing any of the action!

Friday June 25th

Enjoy the spunky sounds of one of my favorite bands of 2004, Seattle's The Fitness. They'll be playing at Oakland's Liminal Arts Gallery w/ Paradise Boys, Kid 606, Gold Chains and Sue Cie, Avenue D and Sarah Delush.

Join me and MoveOn.org for the 11:30pm showing of Michael Moore's Farenheit 9/11 at the Metreon. This is going to be a huge turnout, so get your tickets online early.

Saturday, June 26th
Missed The Fitness. No problem, see them at 3:00pm at the Virgin Megastore for Free!

Friday, July 23rd
Emerging from the underground, our friends Omar and Jenny (formerly of Club Fake, Sixteen, The Finger) will accompany a DJ set by Ladytron at Rx Gallery. Get your tickets at blasthaus.com and avoid the rush at the door.

Saturday, July 24th
Scissor Sisters with Seattle's The Fitness at Slims! More TBA.

Friday, July 30th

Head to Mezzanine for a very special performance by guest Miss Kittin, who will undoubtedly be promoting her new album, i-com. Even more enticing, she will supported by Ghostly International Art and Artifice featuring Matthew Dear, Dabrye and Midwest Product. It doesn't get much better, robots!

Now this is cool...
Personal home pages are so passe. Thanks to European developer Simeda and their Pocketster application, you can now have a personal mobile page. Pocketster is the world's first wireless personal web server for the PocketPC that advertises itself to other Pocket PCs in the neighborhood using ad-hoc WiFi networks and Rendezvous. Now this makes mobile computing interesting...
A little Fischerspooner news...Casey & Co. are toiling away in the studio on their yet-to-be-named album, however if you catch the TV show Nip/Tuck on FX, you can hear a new Fischerspooner track called " Just Let Go" on June 29. Check local listings for showtimes.

The iRobotnik Gmail Contest

By now, unless you’re a robot under a rock, you've heard about Google's invite-only e-mail service, Gmail. The benefit of Gmail is you get 1GB of free e-mail storage and an intuitive google-esqe approach to the webmail interface. Gmail account invitations have been so popular, they're being sold on eBay for as much as $75 each. Instead of selling my invitations (I have 3 left), I'm using them to sponsor the first ever iRobotnik Gmail contest. Here's the deal – e-mail me a link to your favorite new electronic song/artist (high-quality MP3 preferred) by no later than Friday, June 25th. You may enter as many times as you like (with a different, unique entry, of course) and at the end of the contest, I'll pick the top 3 entries I like best and invite the winning contributors to open their own Gmail account.

Apparently Radioactive Man will NOT be appearing on Saturday (however you can still catch Cybrid and Broker/Dealer):

"Due to circumstances beyond our control, Radioactive Man will not be appearing"

[from dr] Get out the Geiger counters! Nuclear-powered robots will want to head over to 132 Eddy St. this Saturday night to hear Radioactive Man (Two Lone Swordsmen's Keith Tenniswood) along with Cybrid and Broker/Dealer. More info at blasthaus.com.

It's so fun when you're pretty and go grocery shopping. You can laugh and make fun of everything, and race the carts the around, and take 100 items to the express lane, and everyone thinks it's cute and endearing instead of obnoxious and stupid.

See more Supermodel Personals. Thanks Lily.
