Seattle's The Fitness at Cafe Du Nord

Friday night’s The Fitness show was spunky, funky pure electro pleasure. If you were there, I’m sure you’ll agree – a welcome, refreshing performance. It was followed up by the booty-shakin’ ladies of Fanny Pack, and while not my preference musically, their energy made it all worthwhile (as their DJ and producer Big Black would say in his thick b-boy style Brooklyn accent, “Yeah!”). Afterwards we moseyed over to Sixteen at the Hush Hush where Jenny and Omar of the long-departed Club Fake are managing to turn out some pretty good crowds. All in all a fun time, it was good to finally get out and hang with so many familiar faces.
